Garp,also known as hero of The Marienes, is one of the most powerful characters in the entire series known for defeating two of the most powerful pirates i.e., Roger and Xebec.
He is the grandfather of our Luffy and father of the most wanted criminal of the world, Dragon.
Garp is considered a living legend and is one of the strongest marines of all timenas he was one of the very few people capable of fighting the Pirate King. In fact, Roger states that he and Garp had almost killed each other many times throughout their battles. Due to his incredible power and popularity, Garp was offered the rank of admiral several times throughout his life but refused the promotion every time.

Bleackbeard also known as Marshal D. Teach,is one of the most cunning pirates hated mostly for killing his Father Whitebeard and main reason behind death of ACE.He has two the most strongest devil fruit of this word,yami Yami no mi to control Drakness and Gura Gura no Mi , for god level Destruction.Apart From all this he is a mastermind for setting up the entire marieneford war for his profits.This is someone whom no one should mess with.

So far The fight seems to be Draw but it can change entirely whether if both characters or one of them might posses Haoshuku Haki.Depending upon level of haki,The fight can close up in a pretty harsh way.
But considering the age factor ,which actually matters in the World of One piece as we have seen with Rayeligh,It is pretty much possible that Garp may die if he comes in close to Blackbeard.But lets see where this will end up....
